Before working in the veterinary field, Mary was a bookkeeper in a downtown office. The commute and the office environment pushed her to look for another job. Without knowing anything about the veterinary world, she secured a job at a clinic, and it didn’t take long before she fell in love with the work!
Mary was born and raised in Manila in the Philippines. After her husband finished his medical residency in Manila, the family moved to the U.S. since most of Mary’s husband’s family lives here. Now she’s worked as a Customer Service professional in the veterinary field for more than 20 years.
Mary and her husband have two boys and a girl. The family has a bulldog named Gordo, a Maltese named Duckie, and a pug named Kimbo, all of which keep Mary quite busy at home. In her spare time, she likes reading and cooking, and especially loves trying out new dishes that she thinks her family will like. Her cooking is very popular with her children’s friends since most of them choose to eat at their house!
