Brenda has lived in Burbank, California her entire life and has an older sister. Since as early as 3 years of age, little Brenda had developed a fascination with animals as she grew up around all types of animals and knew that she wanted to work in the animal field. She loves all kinds of animals and was completely fearless no matter the size or specie of the animal—whether it was a big Mastiff dog or a snake. Growing up, Brenda enjoyed watching Animal Planet and thought how cool it would be to have a job like Steve Irwin and other animal conservationists.
When she entered elementary school, Brenda proudly stated to her parents: "I want to become a veterinarian" and around 11 years old, she asked to have her own dog. After many years of convincing, it finally happened and her dreams came true as she got her Labrador/Pitbull mix named Hershey. Hershey, who loves to get herself into trouble, is her sidekick and #1 fan. Brenda also has two slider turtles and couple of Tropical fish who love to eat! During her junior year of High school, she took an Animal Care class at the Burbank Animal Shelter and landed a job there during her senior year at Burbank High as a kennel attendant. Currently, she is a Veterinary Technician student at Platt College and has taken classes at Glendale Community College and Pierce College in hopes of pursuing a degree in Veterinary Medicine.
In her free time, Brenda loves swimming and spending time outdoors. She also enjoys watching some of her favorite TV shows like Pretty Little Liars and going on adventures with friends. She likes to eat sushi and is always making people smile and laugh.
